Local Ingredients Meet Culinary Expertise
Natalie’s Reopens June 1st
Natalie’s restaurant closed for dining to help reduce the spreading of COVID-19 (flatten the curve) last March.
The award-winning restaurant is now preparing for a reopening on June 1st, following the guidelines of the CDC, the National Restaurant Association, the WHO and the State of Maine.
Natalie’s restaurant, as always, is committed to deliver a personalized and unique experience with a sense of place. The restaurant will mainly source from local farmers, fishermen, foresters, lobstermen in addition to the restaurant’s vegetable and herbal garden.
“Although changes in procedures are needed to ensure a safe operation, nourishing our guests and offering an unforgettable culinary experience will not change or being effected by implementing precautionary steps” says Raymond Brunyanszki, owner of Camden Harbour Inn and Natalie’s Restaurant.
For the safety of the restaurant’s guests and staff, in addition to continue to help reducing the spread of the virus the inn and restaurant have the following procedures in place:
Safe Dining @ Natalie’s Restaurant

For other dining guests consideration and well-being, Natalie’s requires guests to wear masks when not seated at a table. The inn and restaurant will have complimentary masks and sanitizing lotion available.
Natalie’s has implemented a rigorous cleaning schedule including in-service sanitizing off all touchable services at the hotel and restaurant. Including doorknobs, screens, restroom areas etc.
Natalie’s has reduced seating capacity to allow a minimum of 6ft distance between tables.
The restaurant will not accept parties over 8 guests seated at one table.
All employees will undergo a daily health-check including measuring temperature and blood-oxygen level. This will be registered and kept on file for 21-days.
All staff will wear masks and gloves. As an extra precaution Natalie’s introduces a white-glove and black glove service. The wait staff with white gloves will only service at a table while the staff wearing dark gloves will only clear at a table to avoid contamination. The bartender is wearing a shield and protective mask.
In June, to help reduce the average dining time, Natalie’s restaurant will offer a la carte dining only. A special Welcome Back 3-course menu including a glass of Prosecco is offered to all guests in the month of June. Tentatively on July 1st Natalie’s will start offering tasting menus in addition to a small bar menu.
- Additional steps have been taken including staggered shifts and crew meals to ensure social distancing where possible.
Brunyanszki says: “ We take our responsibility towards our staff, our guests and our community extremely serious and have gone beyond the government guidelines to ensure a healthy operation. We are excited welcoming our guests back”.
Soon people will enjoy sitting on the restaurant’s heated porch, overlooking the harbor while the sun sets behind the hills and taste delicious prepared food by Natalie’s culinary team or sip a nice glass of wine.
Brunyanszki continues: “Life is too short and too beautiful to not celebrate it as much as we can. We are thankful for all the support in the past months and hope to see many off our guests back on June 1st!”
