Executive Chef, Lawrence Klang

Lawrence Klang

Lawrence Klang is the Chef de Cuisine at Natalie’s restaurant at the Camden Harbour Inn in Camden, Maine. He received his formal culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu L’Art Culinaire, London. Prior to his arrival at Natalie’s he worked at London’s Capital Hotel and Claridge’s Hotel; Restaurant Jacques Maximin, Vence, France; Criolla’s Restaurant, Grayton Beach, Florida; Restaurant Saint Emillion, Fort Worth, Texas and Fish out of Water, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Klang presented “A Maine Noël” at the James Beard House in New York City in December 2008 and recently returned from a week in the Michelin two star Ciel Bleu in Amsterdam, where he worked with renowned chef Onno Kokmeijer. Klang has been invited to return in 2010 for two weeks, to present a special shared menu.
He is known for his exceptional ability to blend his classic French training with his own artistry to create exceptionally delicious ways to present the cornucopia of wonderful ingredients found here on the Maine coast.

Sous Chef, Ian Tesseyman

Natalie’s sous chef Ian Tesseyman’s love of cooking has led him to work in casual and upscale restaurants for nearly two decades. His love of French cuisine and fusion cooking makes him a great fit at the kitchen in Natalie’s. Ian was most recently at MC’s and Arrows, in Ogunquit, Maine, where he worked under James Beard nominated chefs Clark Frasier and Mark Gaier, gaining insight and an understanding of quality ingredients, flavor combinations and the challenges of working in a demanding and award winning restaurant.

Maître d’ Tom Laslavic

Tom LaslavicTom manages the restaurant on Raymond’s behalf. With his unpretentious graciousness and genuinely hospitable nature, he is dedicated to seeing that every guest feels perfectly looked after while dining at Natalie’s. He also oversees the selections for the wine list and the bar, bringing to the job his past experience helping to establish the bar at the nationally acclaimed restaurant Primo.

Owners: Oscar Verest and Raymond Brunyanszki

Since purchasing the venerable Camden Harbour Inn in 2007, Dutch owners Raymond Brunyanszki and Oscar Verest have transformed it into an AAA four-diamond boutique hotel and restaurant that has earned raves and draws guests from all over the US and beyond. Both Raymond and Oscar have impressive professional credentials as well as a natural affinity for providing personalized, “above-and-beyond” hospitality.
